On February 4, 2019, NCDHHS announced Prepaid Health Plan contract awards for Medicaid managed care Standard Plans. The fact sheet dates the RFP to August 9, 2018 and says the program launches in November 2019. Statewide awards are AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina, Inc.; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina; UnitedHealthcare of North Carolina, Inc.; and WellCare of North Carolina, Inc. Carolina Complete Health received the regional award for Regions 3 and 5. The fact sheet says only that plan's total score, among the provider-led entities that offered a regional contract, met the threshold. It does not print the numeric score. The retrieved pages do not print a solicitation number or a contract end date.
