California postpones commercial Medi-Cal plan procurement until at least 2029

DHCS says the next competitive commercial Medi-Cal managed-care procurement will begin no sooner than 2029, with new contracts effective no sooner than 2031; current plan contracts have been extended through December 31, 2026.
